Our Voices Matter - Youth Gathering

In March 2019, Clan Mother owner Danielle H. Morrison was invited to host a series of youth workshops on entrepreneurship and themes of art and resistance for the “Our Voices Matter” Youth Gathering, organized by Anishinaabe Abinoojii Family Services, Kenora Chiefs Advisory, and Wabaseemoong Child Welfare Authority at Seven Generations Education Institute in Kenora, Ontario.

Workshop participants received an introduction to the world of graphic design and art as a movement. They then had the opportunity to print their own “Wu-Tang Dodem” on black t-shirts or items of their choosing.
